Privacy Policy

This is a draft policy describing what FaibelClip currently collects and how it's used. It is a starting point, not a substitute for legal review — have a lawyer confirm it before relying on it for a public launch.
What we collect
- Account info: email address and authentication data (via Supabase Auth, including Google sign-in if you use it).
- Video content: source links (YouTube URLs) or files you upload for clipping.
- Generated content: clip titles, scores, and summaries produced by our AI pipeline based on what you submit.
How it's used
Solely to provide the clipping service: authenticating you, processing your videos, and generating clip suggestions. Video titles are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenRouter, and any local model you configure) to generate clip ideas and, in the future, transcriptions.
Storage & retention
Uploaded videos are stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket, accessible only to your account. You can delete a generation at any time from the Generations page, which removes its database records; associated files should also be removed (contact us if you find otherwise — this flow is still young).
Third parties
We use Supabase (database, auth, storage) and OpenRouter (AI models) as infrastructure providers. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
